Although he is the author of several articles and academic works, he has a wide vision in art creation, from the traditional to the modern, including calligraphy, seal-carving, Chinese-painting, oil painting, porcelain, sculpture, installation art, photography, and poetry, prose, essays. He has personal exhibits held in France, Japan, Thailand, the United States, etc, and has participated in many world-class art exhibitions and is the recipient of countless honors and awards. His art works are collected by several foundations and museums worldwide. He has been nick-named “Multi-talented painter”, “The king of lotus”, “Diamond Cui”, and most importantly, “A genius from the last five hundred years” by the top academic authority .
