Based in Edinburgh at the Brunton Theatre. The Curve Foundation Dance was founded in 1998 by Scottish dancer/choreographer Ross Cooper with support from the Scottish Arts Council and Dance Base. Ross Cooper's captivating work explores different movement textures, often pushing the dancers to great extremes. With dancers from traditional and modern backgrounds and music styles ranging from contemporary to classical. The Curve Foundation has presented work by Rui Lopes Graca, Peter Darrell OBE, Merce Cunningham, Siobhan Davies OBE, Henri Oguike and Anna Lujan Sanchese.

The Curve Foundation is a sleek and innovative force in the Scottish Dance scene and is now moulding itself as Scotlands'most interesting young repertory dance company.

Catherine Pearmain from Barnsley West Yorkshire, trained at the Royal Ballet School. She has danced with the English National Ballet, the Berlin Ballet and several other companies throughout Europe. Catherine has performed work by Henri Oguike and Rui Graca with the Curve Foundation.
