This server has been set up to provide alternative access to select software archives. For example, the Info-Mac Archive contains a huge selection of Macintosh shareware and freeware, but access is extremely limited. Although there are other sites that mirror the Info-Mac Archive, they can also be difficult to access due to overwhelming loads or time-of-day restrictions. This server provides the Internet community with one more option.
Thanks to John Franklin and Alain Roy, of Northwestern University fame, we have a Sherlock plug-in for searching the archives at mirror.apple.com. The plug-in can be downloaded from:
