Description
The DC SBDC Network is an outreach program, working in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), local universities, and community organizations, to provide free technical assistance and affordable training in all phases of small business development to small, minority-owned, and/or other disadvantaged enterprises. Our trained and skilled business counselors provide one-on-one assistance in a myriad of areas, at no extra cost to the client. Each year, one-on-one counseling is provided to thousands of small business owners and managers. Counseling includes but is not limited to: cash flow analysis and financial forecasting, market research, procurement assistance, proposal cost analysis, overall business assessment, feasibility analysis, business plan assessments, strategic planning, and business start-up information.
DC SBDC Network assistance is available to almost anyone interested in starting or expanding a small business who cannot afford the services of a private consultant.
The DC SBDC is a partnership with the U.S Small Business Administration. The DC SBDC is partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration under Cooperative Agreement number #4-603001-Z-0009-25. The support given by the U.S. Small Business Administration through such funding does not constitute an expressed or implied endorsement of any of the co-sponsor(s)' or participant(s)' opinions, products or services. Services are offered on a non-discriminatory basis. Seminars and conferences are held in handicapped- accessible locations, and if requested in advance, provisions will be made.SBDCs are a program supported by the U.S Small Business Administration and extended to the public on a non-discriminatory basis. SBA cannot endorse any products, opinions or services of any external parties or activities.
