My name is Jim Hawkins, and I have worked as a sound recording engineer since 1966. From 1968-1971 I built and operated the first studio for Capricorn Records in Macon, Georgia . I n 1971 I began recording sound for films. In the years since I have had the good fortune to work on just about every sort of film imaginable. Today the focus of my work is feature films and television movies, but I still enjoy doing music work too. I particularly enjoy live recording and have built a remote truck for use on these projects. I have included some photos of the truck at the end of this page.
