Description
John Joslin was a farmer in Essex and also had a business in Belgium. Together with his wife Jennifer they decided to sell up and cruise the world in their custom built yacht 'Dancing Wave'. They did this for six years before dropping anchor in New Zealand.
After one visit to Marlborough the yacht was sold and 20 acres in the heart of the wine growing region was bought. Marlborough was chosen for its international reputation as a premium wine growing region with one of the longest ripening periods in the world.
Dusky Sound wines are sold in the UK and Hong Kong with expansion into new markets including New York and surrounding states in 2004.
