Description
eastendconnected (pronounced 'East End Connected') has been created to improve community access to information technology across the East End of Glasgow.
At present, we are located at several Learning Centres within a range of community based premises across the Community Planning Partnership East area. We hope to increase this number to 15. Each location has a minimum of 4 networked, internet accessible computers.
The community based, high-speed ICT network enables local residents to make use of on-line learning to develop skills that will help them compete more effectively in the labour market.
