- The goal of Etched Press is to publish writing that is read and relevant throughout the millennium. We’re interested mostly in well-written chapbook-length collections of poetry that aren’t pretentious and have universal themes. We prefer authors who have just begun their writing careers and aren’t widely published. Etched Press believes publishing is about the writing and spreading its message to as many readers as possible in hopes that it can be of help. Although we are primarily a poetry press, we will reply to interesting fiction and creative non-fiction queries. Our aim is to publish writing that remains in the minds of readers, years after the first consumption.
