REVIEW OF Everslim
Everslim™ is a weight loss supplement said to be designed specifically for moms. This product is marketed by an undisclosed company, which we find disconcerting. Consumers have the right to know who they are purchasing their supplements from, and should especially be able to know who developed and designed the formula. However, the website does share that this product was “doctor formulated.” According to the web description, this product should help mom lose lingering pregnancy weight and boost their “lagging” energy. However, the contained ingredients seem pretty universal and are similar to many other weight loss ingredients out there. Everslim™ is broken up into two similar formulas, the Daytime Formula contains: Garcinia Cambogia Extract, Gymnema Sylvestre Extract) Calcium, Green Tea Extract, Caffeine Anhydrous and additional ingredients clearly listed at the website. The Nighttime Formula has a similar formulation, but includes Valerian, Melatonin and additional ingredients. Thankfully there is no caffeine included.
- Garcinia Cambogia Extract – is used in Indian traditional remedies for edema, delayed menstruation, constipation and intestinal parasites. It is also used for rheumatism and bowel complaints widely sold as a component in dietary supplements.
- Calcium – is the most basic of mineral salts that in the body is know to strengthen bones.
- Green Tea Extract – contains the stimulant, caffeine. Excessive caffeine is known to cause restlessness and/or insomnia. Also, people taking aspirin or blood thinning medications should consult their doctor before taking green tea extracts, because green tea extracts may interfere with blood clotting. More studies are still needed to determine if green tea extracts are truly beneficial for weight loss.
- Caffeine Anhydrous - is a basic stimulant. An excessive amount is known not only to cause jitteriness, but overt nervousness.
- Valerian- is a root native to North America and is often used as a sleep remedy, which is said to be non-addictive.
- Melatonin- is also often used as a sleep remedy. It is likely these two sleep aids are contained in the nighttime formula to counteract the high amount of caffeine in the daytime formula.
After examining this formula it doesn’t appear to have any special features which should specifically help moms. As mentioned above, these ingredients are fairly typical and often found in weight loss supplements. We think all consumers, including moms, would be more likely to experience satisfying weight loss results with a product that contains a proven appetite suppressant and a patented fat burner.
