- The year was 1996 - an amazing year for technology; multimedia was all the rage and the Internet turned a lot of heads with Netscape's now legendary IPO. ExamBuilder, then called Bolder Design, was in an exciting niche developing cutting-edge technologies and pushing them to the limit. The company was contracted to create a dynamic multimedia show for the worldwide launch of Pepsi One. And later that year, Bolder Design developed an interactive kiosk for Mercedes-Benz that debuted at the international auto show. The kiosk featured one of the first uses of wireless technology - a hand-held PDA that captured and sent customer data from the reception area to the kiosk and nearby database.
