Ezitrust is a company set up to bring electronic signature and encryption technology to the ordinary Internet user in an accessible and affordable way.
In the last 2 years or so, ordinary software such as common E-mail clients began to support encryption techniques out-of-the-box. The relaxation of U.S. Export controls as well as the adoption in Europe of the Electronic Signatures Directive have combined to create a situation where document security is accessible for everyone. The only thing missing is a Certification Authority that allows a link to be established between a persons identity and their public key. Ezitrust fills this gap.
Ezitrust was founded by Dr. Donal O'Mahony who has over ten years experience in operating security infrastructures in the University and Research environments. He established Ezitrust to bring this technology to a wider audience.
