Description
I was born and raised in New York -- Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn -- to be exact. I moved to Southern California in 1970. After graduating from college, I worked as a court reporter and paralegal in Century City for a time, before moving to beautiful Thousand Oaks.
I moved to Thousand Oaks when it was a very small community. Over the past 14 years Thousand Oaks has grown rapidly and reached a population of over 117,000. The number of children enrolled in our public schools alone is presently over 19,000.
Having school-aged children myself, it became clear to me there was a need for children's theater here in our local area -- a place where children could go on a field trip and experience curriculum-related as well as educational entertainment.
