From inception in 1942, shortly after the start of World War II, Florida’s Blood Centers was founded on the philosophy of people helping others. Since then, we have consistently provided the communities we serve with a safe and adequate supply of blood thanks to the generosity of our volunteer blood donors. A founding member of the American Association of Blood Banks and the Florida Association of Blood Banks, FBC has been a pioneer and leader within the industry.
