About Us
ForgeFX is a San Francisco-based interactive 3D simulation and visualization company. We provide software development services for clients looking to create online (web-based) and offline (CD-ROM and downloadable executable) interactive content.
We are a privately owned company with satellite offices in San Francisco, Santa Rosa, and Honolulu Hawaii. Founded in 2001 by Greg Meyers, Adam Kane and David Vaillancourt, the founding partners have been working together at other well known Bay Area companies for close to 10 years.
Interactive 3D simulations and visualizations are a powerful way to communicate, but have only been available to the scientific, military and other large-scale communities. This is no longer the case and that's one of the reasons we started our business. With the advancement of consumer hardware and developer tools and technologies, highly realistic and fully interactive simulations can be custom-built and widely distributed within reasonable time frames and budgets.
