When I was young, I always liked the way the electric guitar sounded. At the age of 13, I won 2nd prize in a contest ... free guitar lessons from a local music store. I went to the lessons and somehow managed to play that horrendous acoustic "toy" they supplied with my lessons. I was passionate about playing that guitar and never put it down.
