Description
Although holoweb was originally hosted in the office where my younger brother and I were both working, that company had financial problems, and for a while it was hosted in his office at his new job. Web hosting for an image server used to be expensive, but today it's not too bad, and the adverts pay for it.
The Web server is running Linux with Apache; it was previously running FreeBSD with Apache. We need somewhere with SQL hosting (e.g. via MySQL), because the Search facility uses both an XML database and a relational database (read more about how the search works).
I have an Epson E10000 2400/4800dpi scanner, and use that together with Adobe PhotoShop and the Gimp to process the images.
