The Fur Council of Canada is a national, non-profit federation representing people working in every sector of the Canadian fur trade. This includes fur producers, auction houses, processors, designers, craftspeople and retail furriers. Incorporated in 1964, Fur Council programs include:Encouraging linkages between designers and other sectors of the fashion industry. Sponsorship of competitions for both professional designers and students in Canadian fashion colleges.
