The community website Future Stratford has been set up through a partnership of Stratford City Developments Ltd with the South Bank Employers’ Group and the Waterloo Project Board.
Stratford City Developments Ltd has been created to develop Stratford Rail Lands in East London. The company consists of Chelsfield plc and Stanhope Plc, who are development partners with London & Continental Railways Limited.
The collaboration between bodies concerned with new development in two different parts of London has led to the creation of two parallel websites. One, Future Stratford, follows the Rail Lands development in Stratford and a wide range of developments in the Stratford area, providing a means for local people to find out about changes and to take part in the consultation process. The other website, Open South Bank & Waterloo, is designed to keep the local community in touch with developments around the South Bank and Waterloo areas.
