Description
Gamefishin.com was created by Bruce Pearson in 1998 as a personal endeavor to share his passion for fishing. Since it's very beginning, the web site focuses on providing a meaningful resource for fishing information and to create a medium for anglers to come together as a community and share information.
The community is full of anglers from around the State of Washington, who are ever helpful and willing to share their own experiences and knowledge. Today, the community has grown to host various contributing volunteer experts, guides, and professional fishermen with the goal of helping and sharing with fellow anglers.
Born in American Fork, Utah – 1962. He grew up fishing the rivers, streams and lakes of Utah until he ended up in Washington State at around the age of 15. Growing up in the state of Utah allowed Bruce to learn to fish for a large variety of freshwater species that included catfish, whitebass, trout, walleye and basically anything would take his offering. By the age of 15 Bruce could be considered an accomplished freshwater angler and he would often disappear for the entire day in search of a fishing hole. Walking or riding a bicycle was his preferred means of transportation to the fishing hole. He would often ride a bicycle or walk for miles in order to fish any one of his favorite spots and many times he would show up at home in the evening with his catch for dinner. Bruce claims that his mother makes some of the best fried trout and hushpuppies this side of the Mississippi and no one in the Pearson family would be disappointed when Bruce showed up for dinner with his catch.
