Description
Gordon Films UK took shape with the new millennium. The inspiration to set up the company came initially from director Nigel Lesmoir-Gordon and producer Daisy Graham. Under this new banner they have brought together the talents and experience of a small group of highly-motivated media professionals and programme-makers to form a dynamic, creative partnership to focus on producing quality programmes for the corporate sector.
Gordon Films UK was formed in 1995 to produce the award-winning television documentary The Colours Of Infinity , presented by Sir Arthur C. Clarke, written by Nigel Lesmoir-Gordon, with music by David Gilmour on the discovery of the Mandelbrot Set and the development of Fractal Geometry.
including in the UK - on Channel Four. Colours was followed with Is God A Number? This television documentary looks at the mystery of consciousness and some remarkable discoveries that have recently been made in mathematics. We have recently completed a biographical broadcast documentary on the life and work of the maverick mathematician, Benoît Mandelbrot - Clouds Are Not Spheres.
