Description
Adam J. Decker has been serving the needs of harpsichord enthusiasts for over 10 years in the Southeast. He recently formed Early Keyboards of Atlanta out of a growing desire to see the harpsichord's popularity reach a new zenith here in the South. Through constant interaction with universities, baroque ensembles, churches and individuals he has maintained a steady clientele of both new and repeat customers. From simple adjustments to complete technical rebuilding he is able to meet whatever early keyboard need you may have.
His love for early keyboards began at a young age. Upon graduation from college, he purchased an old Zuckermann kit from the school. After many months at the Zuckermann shop in Stonington, CT., a remarkable instrument emerged. From then on his instruments and service as a technician were in high demand.
Dr. Decker is married with a beautiful baby boy, Mitchell James. His workshop resides 15 miles north of Atlanta in Acworth, GA. When not caring for patients and building harpsichords, he enjoys reading and collecting antiquated human anatomy texts, publishing scientific articles, traveling and enjoying his precious family.
