pulled from site's meta descriptionHenterMath.com is home of Virtual Pencil. We are developing software to teach mathematics to blind or visually impaired people, and others who are print-impaired. This is not a tutorial, although a tutorial-mode will be part of the package. Think of it as a virtual pencil, a tool that a blind person can use to solve a math problem. The software does the job of the pencil. It moves to the right spot on the paper, guided by the user, and inputs the answers that the user selects. It also reads the problem out loud. The user must provide the brain. The current prototype handles addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and it is not yet ready to be released. Future versions will do higher levels of math.
