Here Be Books is an inviting, service-oriented bookstore located in Summerville, South Carolina, just northwest of historic Charleston. They carry over 40,000 fiction and nonfiction books, both hard cover and paperback, some new and rare, but mostly used and out-of-print books, as well as collectible roleplaying games (RPGs).
If they don’t have what you’re looking for, they can usually find and special order it for you, whether it's out-of-print or in. They're always happy to perform a search and there's no obligation to order. "Looking for a book? Let us help." is their motto.
Here Be Books carries a complete line of Brodart, archival-quality book covers, that they'll even install for you. The book covers fold on over the dust jacket to protect it and the book from the ravages of time and use. Other products include: high-quality playing cards by Piatnik, standard six-sided and fantasy role-playing game dice by Crystal Caste, and used and new roleplaying games and supplements.
It's a nice place where you can relax and browse. They've got a few comfortable chairs so you can kick back and read. They usually have drinks and snacks available for purchase as well.

Events
Here Be Books occasionally hosts events such as storytelling, book signings, AD&D Game Day, Talk Like a Pirate Day, and, of course, their monthly game night (1st Saturday of every month).
Game Night at Here Be Books
The first Saturday of every month is Game Night at Here Be Books. Instead of closing at the usual time (6pm), we stay open and play games. Anything goes: cards, board games, strategy, group games, dice, etc. Some months there's a theme. If you have a game you'd like to share/play, feel free to bring it along. We always love to learn something new.
Ages 18 and up. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase at the store. Extra folding chairs are always welcome: bring one or more along if you have them; don't worry about it if you don't.
