Description
Founded in 1989, HFHMC is a charted affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Governed by a Board of Directors, the affiliate employees two staff members: Executive Director Barbara Smith, and Construction Manager Gary Dallas. Dedicated, committed volunteers play a vital role in the organization, making it possible to keep operating costs low. At the close of 2005, the affiliate had completed 36 homes in Montgomery County.
Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County (HFHMC) is a volunteer-based organization that works in partnership with God and people from all walks of life to improve the quality of life in our community by building and/or renovating houses so that there are simple, decent, affordable homes in which people can live and grow into all that God intends.
