Holovaty.com is a Web site devoted to discussion of Web development, with a particular emphasis on news/information sites. Sometimes I release open-source code, too.
I like to build Web apps and solve interesting technical problems. My background is in journalism, and I am passionate about making useful information easily available to people.
In my day job, I'm editor of editorial innovations at Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive (washingtonpost.com). The job involves coming up with ideas for site improvements and special projects, and implementing them.
