Home County Folk League creates opportunities for the citizens of London and region to celebrate artist created music and art in the folk based tradition. Home County nurtures and encourages local and area artists as they showcase their talents to the community.

Home County Folk League, a volunteer, non-profit organization has a free summer festival in Victoria Park (London) as its primary focus.
Background
Home County Folk League was formed in 1973 to produce the Home County Folk Festival. Over the past 32 years, the festival has grown and evolved to become one of the few free (no admission fee) folk festivals in Canada; attended by up to 150,000 persons from London, region, Ontario and the United States; 6 side stages operating Saturday and Sunday afternoons with bandshell concert 3 evenings; 3 day event in beautiful Victoria Park featuring local, regional and national folk musicians and dancers; a large arts and crafts show; a dining experience with a variety of ethnic and local foods operated by a volunteer board and coordinators with the assistance of about 200 volunteers.
