Description
Dan started his path towards being a Guide Outfitter beginning with the hunting season of 1969. At the conclusion of his grade 12 year at the age of 19, Dan began guiding for the late Frank Stewart in the Cassiar area.
In 1991 the Stobbe family, Dan, Penny and 2 kids, had the opportunity to purchase the old Frank Stewart area. Cassiar Stone Outfitters became a family operation with everyone, even Chase and Lindsay aged 6 & 8 involved. After 11 hunting seasons in the Cassiars they were ready to move onto new challenges.
The purchase of High Prairie Outfitters occured in 2001. Chase is now an Assistant Guide and plans to follow in his father's footsteps and looks forward to becoming a Guide / Outfitter in the future.
