- Sasural is a Hindi word for "In-laws' house". We have used this word to depict the foreign land as "sasural" for the Indians living away from home (India). There is a bond that binds us all to our motherland. A bond which only seems to grow deeper (not necessarily stronger) as the distance grows and time passes by. It takes us years and even decades to completely grasp the reality that we have left our motherland for good.
