Welcome to the new layout of Iraq War Videos. This website was made for one purpose. To provide an unbias public education service for the war in Iraq.
Despite any of our political beliefs, we have one agenda.. to inform the public of what life is like from a combat perspective in Iraq for the Iraqi people and for the Coalition troops currently serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. We will leave it up to the mainstream media to report on what life is like from a civilian standpoint, since that's the stance many of the media outlets have chosen to pursue.
This site was first launched in November of 2004. The reason for the website was not to post "cool videos", but to compile an archive of information in regards to the war that was raging in Iraq. With so many countries involved, and so many embedded reporters, you'd think we would be able to get a better and clearer view of what was going on out there. As an American tax payer (we pay $5B/mo) I thought I deserved the right to see into greater detail what our soldiers were really going through, and not what mainstream news sources told us. Sorry, but my idea of a combat video was never some reporter coming through on a grainy satelite video. I wanted to see the real stuff. With the technology we have today, I figured this site would be a great way to collect and archive the combat videos I had collected from Iraq, but after speaking to soldiers and personnel in Iraq, my focus changed, and all I wanted to do was provide as much of a realistic insight to the war as possible. You will not find any terrorist videos on this site. We do not post beheadings or kidnapping videos. We may however post videos that others may not agree with. The rule of the site is very simple. If you don't approve, don't watch it.
