ISFA - Information System for Analysts
Description
ISFA SA − Information System for Analysts − is a subsidiary of the Swiss Financial Analysts Association SFAA and was formed in 2003.
The company was formed in the wake of the stock market scandals at the turn of the millennium. In response we set out to give the market a measuring instrument that would systematically and reliably measure the quality of analysts' work.
ISFA is based on two foundations
* the ISFA Standard (standard method of calculation) * the ISFA System (software based on Java)
The ISFA tool measures recommendations on both the buy and the sell side. ISFA is already used by many banks in Switzerland and in other countries.
The development of ISFA was initiated by Dr. Jean-Claude Dufournet, ISFA's CEO. He was supported by academics and specialists with knowledge and skills in the field of mathematics, business management and computer science.
Since recently ISFA has also been present in other countries, currently in Germany, Italy and France. Negotiations are being conducted with further business associates.
