There are 55 islands in total, 5 inhabited and 50 uninhabited. They are small, even the largest island, St Mary's, is less than 3 miles across.
You could go to Tresco to see the sub tropical gardens, go to the pub on St Agnes, pick a beach on St Martins, land on an uninhabited island for the day, or take a trip to see the puffins and seals on the outer islands.
