ISWZA Fraternity, Inc. is an independent organization incorporated in 1913 under the laws of the State of New York. ISWZA Fraternity, Inc. is the holding corporation and alumni association of Omicron Zeta, the sole and exclusive Cornell University unit of The Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., of Indianapolis, Indiana, and as such is non-profit with respect to Internal Revenue Code, Section 501.c.2. Omicron Zeta is a recognized, registered, and affiliated Greek-letter social student organization of Cornell University through the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs of the Dean of Students and a full member of the Interfraternity Council at Cornell University since 1913.
The Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is a men's college fraternity founded November 2, 1909 at Boston University. The third largest and youngest of the twenty major national organizations, it seeks to instill in its members enduring, unselfish, and life-long friendships, appreciation for Christian and other moral ideals, establishment of the highest ideals of gentlemanly conduct and advancement of Man's nobler sensibilities, nurturing of learning and excellence in the American educational system, and contribution to the spirit of democracy in college and in the fraternity system. It has entered over 300 institutions in the United States and Canada.
