Description
The photographer, Jack Marshall, was raised in Port Angeles, Washington from a very young age through high school. After a short tour of duty in the United States Navy, during the 60’s, he landed in Oklahoma working for the Hertz Corporation in their data processing division. Twenty-four years later he quit working in the corporate world, left Oklahoma and returned to Port Angeles, his home.
When he moved back to Port Angeles and started working outside year round as a landscape contractor, he developed a great appreciation and love for the natural world. Jack has had a love of photography all his life, but has only recently become serious in the actual art of photography. Taking some evening classes at the local Peninsula College, from an inspiring photojournalist fueled Jack’s desire to strengthen his photographic skills and talent.
Some of Jack’s portfolio was accumulated during travel to places like the Tuscan region of Italy, the Southern beaches of Mexico, the Washington, Oregon and California coastal areas as well as the diverse, explored trail system within the Olympic National Park on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington.
