Vaida has spent years perfecting his striking new style: creating beautiful, often functional, pieces of art from recycled metals. He begins simply, with discarded metal, often from a scrap yard. He looks for beauty and shape in a given piece in its raw form, then twists and bends the copper to bring out the full potential hidden within that shape.
