- J. B. Kelly Insurance Broker Ltd. was founded by Beaumont Kelly on May 15, 1942. From our beginning in Athens we have enjoyed a steady growth over the years. Mr. Kelly retired in 1975, selling the business to Marson Smith. We opened our branch office in Brockville in 1980 and have watched it grow into a busy, productive office. In March 2003, we merged both offices into one big happy office in Brockville. The managing partners are now Marson Smith, Mary Rae Knapp, Pamela Kirkpatrick and Karl Herbison.
