Jim is a full-time Realtor, licensed since 1984. His practice is dedicated to serving his clients' interests. He has been associated with Jobin Realty since 1998, and worked previously with Gerlach Real Estate and American Venture Realty. His skills are built on direct knowledge gained from hundreds of real estate transactions.

Having lived and worked in Silver Spring-Takoma Park, Bethesda, Washington and Northen Virginia since first moving to the area in 1966, he has many years of practical, hands-on experience of the local housing market.

Although he is licensed and practices as an independent Sales Associate through Jobin Realty, he completed the Real Estate Broker Training Program at the Professional Development Institute in 2000. Also, in pursuit of avocational interests, he completed the full cycle of training programs offered by Montgomery Community Television, achieving three Certifications: as Program Producer, Director and Studio Technician. Earlier in his professional life, Jim earned a Master of Arts degree in Psychology.
