John Wagner for Nevada State Assembly District 40
Description
John Wagner is an active member of the Carson City community. He has assisted the city on forming ordinances that were forwarded to and approved by the Carson City Board of Supervisors.
During the last three legislative sessions, Mr. Wagner was a non-paid (citizen) lobbyist. He testified on behalf of two bills that strengthened the private property rights of our citizens against the taking of property by governments using eminent domain. Other items that he testified in favor of were bills that would limit taxes and spending. He opposed bills that would have weakened the citizen's rights to the petition process.
Mr. Wagner will be supporting three initiatives in next year's elections. They are the property tax initiative, the tax and spending cap (TASC) initiative and the eminent domain initiative. He will also be active in collecting signatures for all three initiatives.
