Welcome to K-DVD, in the next few alineas we hope to explain to you who we are, what K-DVD is, what it is not, what our goals are and what we're actually trying to achieve.
K-DVD is simply put, a spin-off from Kids-in-Art. Born as an experiment in online commerce, Kids-in-Art matured itself into a serious project in which DVDs became the number one seller. Because of this, all the emphasis was placed upon the DVDs and the rest of Kids-in-Art became, unfortunaly, somewhat neglected. To remedy this situation and to allow the DVD section to grow beyond the limitations that Kids-in-Art put on it, we decided to break the DVD section away from Kids-in-Art and to let that section go on as an independant shop.
K-DVD stands for 'Kids on DVD'. It is our goal to specialize ourselves in DVD-Movies in which children play an important or dominant role. As we reside in Europe, our emphasis will mostly be on European productions released on Region 2 DVDs though we are working hard to build up a large collection of DVDs from all over the world in various region formats. It is NOT our goal (nore will it ever be our goal) to sell pornographic or movie productions in which children were either physically or mentally abused. If you find any such movie in our shop, please let us know and we'll remove it if it is indeed of such a nature that we should not sell it.
