- The kayak has three large open cockpits and a two position rudder. It is twenty and a half feet long and has a 30-inch beam. Its draft is six inches and it has a multi-chined hull with excellent stability. Our triple osprey was computer designed, each panel precision cut at the factory. It was then crafted by hand by an experienced boat builder and kayaker in Everett Washington especially for us from BS-1088 marine grade Okoume plywood (African mahogany). It weighs approximately 64 pounds. We believe our kayak is the most beautiful boat in the Valley. We also believe it the largest and safest of its kind in the state of Arizona. It is made from a composite of wood and fiberglass which is much lighter than a completely fiberglass boat and much stronger.
