- For a while now, there has been a growing indication amongst some of the world’s most successful DJs, that one of the pack of leading breaks labels would sooner or later break free from the underground and begin to match the success of the leading house music imprints. This theory has been accentuated by the growing number of house DJs finding room in their sets for breakbeat records that have enough production qualities and tribal ingredients to work on all kind of different dancefloors. It was around these aspirations that Kilowatt Recordings materialised from dancefloor driven strategies to a strong plot for each of its artists.
