For those of you that have been reading 8BM for a while you might know that when I was in my early to mid twenties I used to write music. Here are some of the songs that were recorded back then. Last time I checked my song books I had about 400 songs in them. I must warn you, these are really rough recordings.
Each song was taken from a cassette recording made from a recording so let me apologize in advance for the poor quality.
If someone messed up we just played right through it. These tracks were intended to be rough demos to practice and learn the songs from. What they ended up being were tapes that we just handed out to our friends. All imperfections have been left in both instrumentally as well as vocally. For those of you that like bootleg music, underground music, garage band type stuff then you won't mind as much. Before some of the songs you will hear short conversations while guitars are tuning. Every now and then there is the occasional cough and what not. Occasionally I still run into someone every now and then that ask me if I still have a copy lying around they could have. I figured why not share them with you as well. All I ask is that if you download them and you enjoy them enough to burn them to CD let people know where you got them. :)
