Originally born in Dayton, Ohio and moved to California at age 12 to spend the summer with my father and stepmother. I shortly discovered my passion for food with my step-grandfather (who was a n executive chef-retired). Started cooking for the summer and be September I was preparing three meals a day. Moved to San Francisco and got my first culinary job at 14. I've been cooking most every day since.
