Lithuanian Consulate in Malmo, Hyregatan 9, was opened 1 of October 1996, after Lithuanian foreign minister appointment Ingmar Ingstad as Lithuanian Honorary Consul to assist Lithuania in South West Sweden.Sweden has restored diplomatic relations with Lithuania in 1991. Now all the main two-way deals are under contact. The main goals of cooperation is to strenghten democracy process, economic development, security and envinromental between two countries.
