Arthur Howe
20 years of location managing, decorating and propping feature films, television movies, commercials, & music videos in the Carolinas and Georgia has gained Arthur invaluable knowledge and expertise locating the key resources needed by production. With this knowledge, he soon began production managing and coordinating catalogs, commercials, and music videos, like an Edwin McCain music video, Hanes One Fashion Place, Storehouse Furniture, and other catalogs as well as commercials for Rustoleum and South Carolina Parks , Recreation, and Tourism.
Arthur began his film career in 1973 shooting 16mm television commercials with his trusty Arriflex and bolex cameras at Charleston, South Carolina affiliate WCIV television. He later completed his undergraduate degree in Media Arts at the University of South Carolina in 1976. In 1979 he worked to recruit movies with the fledging South Carolina Film Office, a successful relationship he has continued to this day. Forrest Gump, Prince of Tides, North and South, Swamp Thing, Rich in Love, The Lords of Discipline and Queen are among the projects he has had a hand in recruiting and in some cases, location managing.
