- Lucidian Space Research Institute in Boulder Colorado conducts research and technology development in space science in the interest of accelerating our movement into space. The long term goal of LSRI is to be a primary research and development institute bridging industry and academics, and focusing on major technological and political challenges obstructing our future in space. LSRI is conducting research and technology development in fundamental space science, developing laboratories for space environment studies, lunar & martian surface exploration and habitation, space-based mining and resource acquisition, and space energy solutions. LSRI also seeks to promote interest in space-related science in our next generation and to raise awareness within our government about the importance of these technology industries in providing a healthy and competitive job market, technology advancement, and defensive competitiveness.
