Lynx Tours is established in the year 2000 after discovering the high interest in touring through South Africa. In the last years the tourism industry in South Africa has grown drastically, and with it all product holders and tour operators have gained a lot of experience and knowledge about what our tourists like and expect from us.
Lynx Tours as well has grown with the market. We have been travelling with people from all over the world through South Africa since 2000 and every time this has been a wonderful experience for our guests as well as for us.
Lynx Tours is a partnership between Anita Meijberg and Tyron Van Tonder. Anita is born and raised in the Netherlands and Tyron is a proud South African. We are young at mind and heart and full of energy and travelling is more a hobby for us than work. After we met each other working on a cruise ship we decided to start our future in South Africa. Anita has gained a degree in tourism in the Netherlands and we both have gained our experience by working on cruise ships all over the world for over 5 years, where client friendliness and excellent service is a must. These are also our points we like to highlight in our tours. Our tours are personal with the needs of our guests in the first place. Apart from that we aim for a professional and friendly service with high standards.
