The present owner, Kathy McNay purchased the building in 2002. With Peter Nelson Hall as her architect, the plan was to restore and enhance the building, so that it would be a destination on the river with expansive views of Lake Pepin. Today Maiden Rock Creamery houses McNay's Wine and Coffee Bar, The Nelson Hall Gallery, two fully equipped apartments and large spaces on the lower level for special events.
