I wanted this e mail to to get to Marla's parents . Can you ensure that please? If not please let me know their e mail? I took my foreign exchnge student from Germany, my 9 year old boy, and my 8 year old neighbor ( it was her b day and her name is Marley).
We all were so touched in many ways in relation to this film. Mostly, as a Mom, I was touched by Laura, your ability to stay cenetered for the good of your family. What a gift this is. Mark your creative process to love your family so unconditionally and not get too caught up in the entire media frenzy. Your children are wonderful little souls that are as innocent as can be. Another gift.
There was never a doubt in our mind, or anyone in the theatre, that Marla was the painter. My Dad is an artist in Rhode Island and does wonderful water colors if you ever want to see his work. He turned 80 last year and was a research scientist and the first one to invent the breathalizer. We were brought up in N.Y. , Buffalo and so are familiar with N.Y. as a whole.
