Marty Jemison Cycling Tours; Bicycle Vacation Adventures

Description

A native of the Rocky Mountains and one of the principles of MJCT, Marty discovered his passion for cycling and refined his extraordinary skills in and around Europe. Having ridden professionally in the European peleton for seven years, six with the US Postal Service team, Marty is one of 29 Americans to have completed the world's greatest race, the Tour de France -- twice, in fact, in 1997 and 1998. Marty won the 1999 US Pro Championships, earning him the coveted Stars 'n Stripes national champion's jersey. Marty is bi-lingual and holds a degree in Economics from the University of Utah.

Originally hailing from Wisconsin, Jill lived in Europe ten years and worked for the US Postal Service team in various capacities, learning the ins and outs of professional cycling and the nuances of Europe. That experience, coupled with her uncanny knack for logistics, insures each MJCT tour runs smoothly and efficiently. Jill speaks Spanish and French and has always had a love for endurance sports.

MJCT's leading Frenchman, Anthony rode for Marty's amateur club in Chateaubriant France, building a friendship over many years. Anthony has an uncanny mind for problem solving and details. Unpretentious, he is a strong cyclist himself and has developed a fine "American sense of humor."
