The first motorcycle cruise control was adapted to a 1994 Honda VFR750 motorcycle by Tony and Frank Guymer in 1996 . The invention and production of the 'cable interface unit' (CIU) permitted the safe application of conventional automotive cruise controls to the wider motorcycle market. This prompted establishment of the company and the subsequent design, production and sale of the first after-market, model-specific, electronic cruise controls for motorcycles in the world.
